Newsletter by Mehar and Ruben

The idea behind our Current Affairs Club is to help children become more aware of the world around them, equipping them with the knowledge and confidence to engage with global events. Each week, we focus on one topic, breaking it down into easy-to-understand pieces so that our young learners can grasp complex global situations. Recently, we delved into the Sudan crisis, offering context and clarity on this ongoing humanitarian issue.

We are incredibly proud of Mehar and Ruben, who, despite having exams on Monday, chose to attend the session. Not only did they grasp the complexities of the crisis, but they also delivered two insightful pieces on the topic. Their dedication is a testament to the impact of our club. It encourages us as mentors to continue empowering young learners to excel academically while staying informed about the world around them.
