‘WHO WAS THE BETTER INNOVATOR- TESLA or Edison ?’ By Aashravya Mehra

‘I don’t care that they stole my idea. I care that they didn’t have any of their own’, Nikola Tesla
Tesla was a great innovator. He first worked for Edison and came up with the Alternating Current (AC). He showed this plan to Edison. Edison in his mind was astonished. But he was greedy so he said no.

Tesla got upset and left the company. He started his own company with the help of Westing House Co. He introduced wireless current. Then the ‘War Of Currents’ began in 1887. The reason that Telsa actually left the company was that Edison said, “If you solve this problem, I will give you fifty thousand dollars,” which he never paid. Then Tesla came up with the Tesla Coil. Edison was a bad businessman. He showed the world what AC current could do. It could kill people. Then Tesla came up with the WardenclyffeTower for providing free electricity. The war ended and Tesla lost to Edison who was a better and cruel businessman. Edison once said,“I have not failed. I’ve just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.”
